The graphs below show the percentage of people holding full driving licences in Great Britain by age and sex.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Full car driving licence holders: by sex and age

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The chart below illustrate the total amount of individual having full driving licences in Great britain in order of age and sex.

Overall, the men who aged between 50 to 59 were the maximum licences holder, whereas 17 to 20 teenagers were the least. On the women side, 40-49 years old were the maximum holders, however women who aged between 70 plus and 17 to 20 had similar percantage.

In the chart, highest licences holder was seen to be men crossing over the percentage of the women in their specific age. Men who aged age from 30 to 69 were similar with above 80% of them having a full driving licences, while teenager were the lowest holders.

The least amount of women licences holders was from 17 to 20 and 70+ with around 25%, whereas women aged 30 to 59 were close to 80% and not above respectively. Similarly, 21 to 29 and 60 to 69 years old women have nearly above 60% licences holder respectively.
