The graphs below show the percentage of people holding full driving licences in Great Britain by age and sex.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph compares the men and women with full drivers licences in the United Kingdom in 1975/76 and 2006. The unit of measurment is percentage.

Overall, the men generally had full drivers licence in both years. The percentage of women with full drivers licence increased over the years.

About 33% of tennages aged between 17 to 20 had full drivers licence in 1975/76 and 2000, while around 78% of boys between 21 and 29 had collected their drivers licence. over 80% of men aged between 30 to 49 had their full licence. In 1975 about 70% of men between the age of 50 -59 had their drivers licence, which increased to over 80% in 2006. In 2006 above 80% of men aged between 60 and 69 had their full drivers licence, but in 1975/76 less than 60% of men had the full drivers licence.
