The graphs below show the percentage of people holding full driving licences in Great Britain by age and sex.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar graph compares the percentage of people possessing full driving licenses in Great Britain by age and sex in 1975/76 and 2006.

Overall, it is evident that more men have full driving licenses compared to women. Fluctuations can be observed with not many license holders in 17-20 and 70 and above age groups.

In men's category, the highest percentage of full driving license holders is 90% within 50-69 age groups in 2006 and over 85% within 40-49 age groups in 1975/76. In contrast, the lowest percentage can be seen with over 40% in 2006 in the late teens and over 35% in the 70 and above citizens in 1975/76.
