Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the modern era, many number of students like english for studying independently on a self- study basis rather than attend from course. However, without discuss with teacher, student often find it difficult to manage their studies. I partially agreee and disagree and the reason behind my perspective in the upcoming paraghrap.

On the one hand, there are several positiv effects, Firstly students get own experience when thet learn alone, students have many learning application like youtude. They can make own notes by handmade because they easy to understand. The confidence level rise up of student. The online study is cheaper than others. all the cometiter students study by ownself because they understand more in alone because there is peace.

On the other hand, there aremany disadvantages. Firstly learner can do many gramatical mistakes because they have no guidance about grammar, vocabulary abd pronunciation. As a result they can do lots of mistake they do not know how to correct them. Many student face problems about task, time tabel.

In conslusion, I believe that there are both advantages and disadvantages to study without teacher, the both methods are comfortabel it depend on person to person.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You give a relevant, partly balanced response by mentioning benefits such as learning at one’s own pace and using online applications, as well as difficulties with grammar and managing time. However, your position is unclear: “I partially agreee and disagree” does not explain how far you agree with the claim that students struggle without a teacher. The ideas are also very briefly supported, and the conclusion says both methods are comfortable without resolving your view. The response contains 178 words, so it is 72 words below the 250-word minimum; 17 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop two or three main points with explanations or examples, and state your position clearly in the introduction and conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the broad contrast between independent study’s benefits and its drawbacks. However, progression within the paragraphs is weak: several claims are placed next to one another without explaining how they connect, and “Firstly” is repeated without a clear sequence of supporting points. Some references are difficult to follow, such as “all the cometiter students,” while the conclusion does not clearly follow from the discussion. To improve, organise each paragraph around one main idea, explain it, and add a relevant example; use linking phrases only where they clarify the relationship.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “independently,” “guidance,” “grammar,” “vocabulary,” and “pronunciation,” and the reader can generally identify your topic. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes strain understanding. Examples include “many number of students,” “learning application,” “all the cometiter students,” and “comfortable” where you appear to mean convenient or suitable. Several phrases are also unnatural, such as “study by ownself” and “make own notes by handmade.” Build a more accurate set of expressions for discussing independent learning, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise wording would make your ideas clearer without requiring unnecessarily advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a result link in “As a result they can do lots of mistake they do not know how to correct them.” However, sentence structures are very limited overall, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries can distort meaning. For example, “student often find” needs a plural or an agreeing singular subject, while “Many student face problems” has a plural agreement error. The result sentence also joins two independent ideas without suitable punctuation or a conjunction. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clear clauses such as “because” and “although.” Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and plural endings during proofreading.
