Student answer (Band 5.5)
A huge number of pupils selects to learn english by theirselves instead of attending a formal subject. Nevertheless without proper facilitation mst of the students find is too difficulty and cannot time-table their studies. I wholeheartedly agree, owing to the fact that self knowledge or self studies is enough for learning english, it will lead to numerous diffculties and it will have bad impact on their studies. In this essay i will dicuss my point of my view with the help of examples and experiences.
To commence with, large number of students want to study english course independently without attending such classes and without any guidence of teacher. This is because of they think attending the class is the wastage of time as well as no impact on them. For instance, attending classes may take time and they do not have such like they are doing such job and the work. They want to lose their job that's why they believe attending the class will take their time and they will not gain something so the prefer self -study rather than attending a formal course. Therefore, many learner suggested online courses over physically classes.
Furthermore, numerous amount of students had faced too much difficulties in managing their studies. Because, they were not assisted properly compared to level of teachers assists their students. They faced too much challenges similarly not getting idea while reading, understanding of synonyms, and not managing time-table. For example, one of my friends start studying english personally in home from social media such as youtube. After two months he learned nothing due to he did not gave too mch time to their studies, so he just waste their time. Whereas teachers can guide in proper way like giving you homework as well as providing the environment for english learning. Consequently, proper guiding from teachers play a vital role in learning english.
In conclusion, plenty of students wanted to study on behalf of theirselves without joining of any classes without any assistance of instructor, while i firmly believe it is not the beneficial way of learning english subject.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that independent learners can struggle without a teacher, and the conclusion restates this view. You also give relevant reasons, including difficulty managing time and understanding material, and support one point with your friend’s experience of learning through YouTube. However, the response does not fully develop both sides of the situation. The opening says self-study “is enough” for learning English, which conflicts with your main position that it causes difficulties, and the first body paragraph focuses largely on why students choose independent study rather than explaining its effects. Clarify your stance and develop each main reason with a fuller explanation or example to make the argument more consistent and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally have a central focus, and signposts such as “To commence with,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad progression. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Because, they were not assisted properly” is an incomplete connection to the preceding sentence, while “Therefore” introduces a conclusion that does not clearly follow from the point about students’ work commitments. The first paragraph also shifts between reasons for choosing self-study and its consequences. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the claim it supports; vary linking expressions and make references such as “they” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “independently,” “managing their studies,” “synonyms” and “guide.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “play a vital role.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “formal subject,” “self knowledge,” “too much challenges” and “physically classes” are not natural in this context; “formal course,” “self-study,” “too many challenges” and “in-person classes” would be clearer. Spelling errors such as “diffculties,” “dicuss” and “guidence” also reduce accuracy. Build a reliable set of education-related collocations and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “while” and “whereas.” This gives the response some variety, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “A huge number of pupils selects” should use a plural verb, and “my friend start studying” needs a past-tense verb. The sentence beginning “Because, they were not assisted properly” is not grammatically complete as written, and “they did not gave” uses the wrong verb form after “did.” Review subject–verb agreement, past tense, and the base form after auxiliary verbs. Also check punctuation around introductory clauses and avoid joining ideas in ways that create incomplete sentences.
