Student answer (Band 6.5)
In today's world technology have been advanced to its peak. Education is the one example we could take. Public like students are now preferring to study through online rather than the assistance of a teacher. But even though students can find the resources and information they need, they cannot understand it properly due to several reasons.
From the opinion of a huge number of students who choose to study English independently on a self-study is considerable due the technology we have in today's world. For example, I could do My course by myself there are videos in YouTube, instruction in google and information all over the internet. That shows students can do their own studies in English. But the main point is that would we ineffective and theoretical with a assistance of a teacher. Teacher who taught English knows the weakness of the particular students and may suggest some tips that could improve their English learning which google and YouTube cannot do. Additionally, being around an education instructor help students to enhance the communication and develop speaking which is vital part of learning English. Without any teacher its more likely to be reading online information than grinding at better performance. Any subjects including English to be educated the assistance of the experience person who is working in that field is mandatory.
In the last, I want to conclude that teachers are the experience people who can identify your problem and can suggest some tips to work in your problems. Teacher plays significant role to teach you better than anyone in the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the benefits of self-study versus the necessity of a teacher. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you acknowledge the role of technology, the argument regarding the teacher's role is repetitive. To improve, ensure each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported point. For instance, you could expand on the 'social' aspect of learning or the 'structured feedback' aspect more thoroughly. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of analysis remains at a basic level, which prevents a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into three paragraphs, which is a logical structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'Additionally' and 'In the last', though some transitions feel mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'From the opinion of a huge number of students'. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the connection between sentences could be smoother. Referencing is sometimes imprecise, which occasionally makes the flow of the argument feel disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used naturally would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good', 'tips', and 'problems'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'grinding at better performance' and 'the experience person', which are not standard collocations. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more academic vocabulary and precise collocations related to education and language acquisition. Focus on using words that convey your meaning more accurately rather than relying on general-purpose language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'technology have been', 'teacher... knows the weakness') and article usage (e.g., 'a assistance', 'the experience people'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical rules, particularly verb tense consistency and the correct use of singular/plural nouns. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy is key to moving up.
