Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is widely believed that many student prefers learning English independently instead of attending formal courses. However some people argue that studying without a teacher makes learning more difficult. I completely agree that guidance from a teacher is essential for acquiring language skills effectively.
The primary reason why I agree is that teachers plays a vital role in our life that provide proffessional guidance, which helps students learn more effectively. Teachers can explain complex grammer and share wide range of experiences during class and also correct the students mistakes with general explanation. For example, if a student preparing for any competitive examinations like NEET or UGY and for English for foreign studies, students get faster feedback and improvations from the experienced teachers. As a result, learner can avoid repeating mistakes and make steady progress.
When students prefered to study alone they they often procrastinate or they have a strang believe to surpass the course with good grades. They even get frustrate sometimes experiencing longer workloads while independently learning. Teachers set deadlines and homework for the students which assists student to evalute their academic subject but with alone, this is not seem possible.
In conclusion, students with good ambitions to learn something will always to get assistant with teacher for the better experience and in good environment. It is not easy to learn by-self untill it is familier we have to retie rely on proper guidance and assistants.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the response is under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of development. While the main arguments regarding teacher guidance and the pitfalls of self-study are relevant, they are somewhat underdeveloped. The examples provided, such as mentioning NEET or UGY, are a bit vague and could have been better integrated to support the argument more robustly. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the minimum word count to allow for a more comprehensive discussion of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The primary reason', 'For example', and 'In conclusion', which help the reader follow the argument. However, there are instances where the flow is slightly mechanical or repetitive, such as the use of 'they they' and 'but with alone'. The transition between ideas is generally clear, but the logical progression could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring consistent referencing would help elevate the coherence of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You attempt some topic-specific vocabulary like 'procrastinate', 'academic subject', and 'professional guidance'. However, there are several word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'improvations' (improvements), 'strang believe' (strange belief), and 'familier' (familiar). These errors do not significantly impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of academic terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('teachers plays', 'student prefers'), incorrect verb forms ('students get faster feedback and improvations'), and awkward phrasing ('this is not seem possible'). Punctuation is also inconsistent in places. While you attempt complex sentences, the frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency would significantly improve your accuracy.
