Student answer (Band 5.0)
A large number of students do not attend a formal course for learning English Rather choose to study independently on a self-study basis. But students often find difficult to manage their studies with out the assistance of teacher. I strongly agree with this statement that students faces obstacles in managing their studies with out teacher help.
A student who choose to study independently on self-study basis might sucseed to some extent, But a teacher is often required to improve, provide feedback and suggestion. Which can be useful for a student to improve his studies, learn from his mistakes. A student might face problem regarding English vocabulary, pronunciation. such things he cannot learn by himself he requires a teacher to guide him in a right path. In instance if a student don't know a model in which a essay should be written, a teacher is mandotory to teach him about such things.
A student can not study on his own and achieve his target. he reuires a teacher who can educate him about full formal course. What are the important topic which should be focused , which lesson should he give more time, and which lesson he should give less priority. for example if a student do not know these things he may face difficulty or takes time to learn anything a teacher guidance helps achieve goals in short and easy way
we can say that a student required a teacher to provide him feedback, to guide them, to educate them about course, provides tips to sucseed in their goals. So therefor i strongly sgree with the statement that student often requires teacher to manage their study.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding the need for teacher feedback and guidance on course structure are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the point about 'learning from mistakes' is mentioned but not expanded upon with specific examples or logical consequences. The essay would benefit from more detailed explanations of how a teacher specifically facilitates learning compared to self-study. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments remain at a surface level, which limits the overall impact of the response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the use of 'But' at the start of sentences is frequent and informal. There are also issues with referencing; in the second paragraph, the phrase 'such things' is used to refer back to vocabulary and pronunciation, but the connection is slightly disjointed. The progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by abrupt transitions and repetitive sentence structures, which makes the flow feel a bit stilted rather than natural.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There is significant repetition of basic words like 'student', 'teacher', 'study', and 'learn'. Some word choices are imprecise, such as 'model in which a essay should be written' (should be 'format' or 'structure') and 'mandotory' (spelling error). The student attempts to use some academic vocabulary, but it is often used incorrectly or in a limited way. To improve, the student should focus on using synonyms and more sophisticated collocations related to education.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'a student who choose', 'student faces'), missing articles (e.g., 'without teacher help'), and punctuation errors. The sentence structure is often fragmented, particularly in the first paragraph. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the response from reaching a higher band. More attention to verb tenses and pluralization is necessary.
