Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, prevalence of English language is global. So students of any age required to learn the language. Many students choose to learn it on self-study basis instead of taking help from teacher or any course and ended up with failing in studies. I strongly agree with the sentence and i firmly believe that students need to take help if face difficulties instead of getting failed.
Self-study is the best way to learn from our mistakes. But if the students find it difficult to manage their studies, it is advisable to get help from other. It can be attend formal classes or get assistance from the expert/teacher. For instance, teacher can find out the repetitive mistakes and ways to improve it. If students work on it, he/she will definitely notice the remarkable improvements in the language.
In digital era, many platforms are available to learn the different languages free of cost. If the students do not want to go for any physical classes, still they can get the help in the learning with the help of such platforms and improve their knowledge. The biggest advantage from learning on such platforms is that, students can learn the language in the free time. There are some applications available, which helps to learn the language with fun or games. It become interesting for the students to learn without getting bored.
Attending formal classes may have some disadvantages as well. Timing of the classes can be the main constraints, as going to the school is the primary requirement in the students life and along with it attending extra classes may not be manageable for the students. But taking assistance or spare some time for the classes is better than ended up in failing.
To conclude, it is always better to ask for the help or assistance while learning any language. It can fast track the learning and also help to improve in the quality of the learning.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of seeking assistance. The ideas are relevant, such as the role of teachers in identifying repetitive mistakes and the accessibility of digital platforms. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding digital platforms is well-supported, but the discussion on formal classes is slightly repetitive and lacks depth. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that each paragraph provides a distinct, fully extended argument rather than restating the need for help. The conclusion is clear, but the overall development remains at a functional level rather than a fully persuasive one.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'For instance', 'In digital era', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'So students of any age required to learn' at the start, which lacks a smooth connection to the previous sentence. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'it is advisable to get help from other', where 'other' should be pluralized. While the progression of ideas is generally clear, the flow between sentences could be more sophisticated to achieve a higher score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'formal classes', 'digital era', and 'fast track'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'ended up with failing in studies' (should be 'ended up failing') and 'get the help in the learning' (should be 'get help with learning'). The range of vocabulary is sufficient to communicate, but it lacks the precision and variety of less common lexical items required for a band 7 or higher.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that persist throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('students of any age required' instead of 'are required'), article misuse ('in the students life' instead of 'in students' lives'), and awkward phrasing ('It can be attend formal classes'). These errors are noticeable but do not significantly impede communication. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, as well as ensuring that complex structures are formed accurately.
