Student answer (Band 5.5)

Numerous number of learners believe that studying English by their own on self- study basis instead of attending lectures. without any guidance of a educator , pupils feel it as a challenge to manage their studies. I strongly Agree with this statement.

Studying without a tutor help lead's us to face difficulties. One major reason for this is that, educator's are well trained and have much knowledge than us . This is because, Educator's pursue special education and give's personal interview's and exam's before they start training us. For example, Whenever any new faculty is hire in educational institute The authorities take's their strict interview and acknowledge their skills. As a result, Only that teacher is hire who has acquire knowledge. This is because, Learner's get true academic education and knowledge.

Moreover, Pupil's who choose to study Higher language Independently face to difficulties and end up getting lower academic score. This is because, Learners does not have high education information's as well they does not have and sufficient study material . Meanwhile, A well trained tutor always provide strong study material. For example, I had joined EEC educational institute last year for learning High level English since i was preparing for IELTS examination Educator's over there have provide me sufficient study material as well as online portal also. As a result, With the help of Well trained tutors and educators i achieve excellent score in assessment . If i had choosed to study Independently on self study basis than i was not able to achieve this much score.

In conclusion, Studying with help of educator lead to a great success rather than studying independently.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas are relevant, focusing on the expertise of teachers and the availability of resources. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding teacher training is mentioned twice in the same paragraph without adding new dimensions. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on the 'why' and 'how' of your points with more varied examples rather than restating the same premise. The conclusion is also quite brief and could better summarize the main points presented in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'For example', and 'As a result' to link sentences. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by grammatical errors. Referencing is generally clear, but the structure of some sentences makes the logical connection between ideas feel slightly disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a strong topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'Numerous number of learners' (should be 'A large number of learners') and 'Higher language' (likely meaning 'advanced English'). Additionally, there is a tendency to repeat basic terms like 'educator' and 'study material'. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and ensuring that words are used in their correct context. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic collocations will help you convey your ideas with greater precision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'educator's are', 'Learner's get', 'Learners does not'), incorrect use of apostrophes for plurals, and tense inconsistencies (e.g., 'If i had choosed'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors suggest a lack of control over basic grammatical rules. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and the correct use of plural forms, as these are foundational elements that currently detract from your writing quality.
