Student answer (Band 6.0)
Instead of attending formal course many students choose to study English independently on a self-study basis due to which most of the students often face difficulties to manage their studies without the assistance of a teacher. I disagree with this statement. From my perspective after the advancement made in artificial intelligent the difficulties face by the students due to lack of teacher assistance can be countered and self-study also help students to gain self-confidence and help them analyze there own growth.
In this generation due to the advancement of artificial intelligent the necessity of the teacher assistance for study had decline. Nowadays many students as well as adults use AI to study different fields and that goes same for study English and AI is sometimes better then a human teacher due to the fact that it have infinite knowledge of all fields. In fact many of the students prefer AI as a teacher then the actual teacher due to its versatility and ability to pin point the mistakes.
Furthermore from studying independently can also help students discover new ways to optimize their learning rather than going for basic method. When students are studying alone they get the habit to research and discover new way or method to improve them in study of English and other sectors. During self-study students gain inner motivation and confidence to continue. For instance, a survey from my school reveals that the students who have shown an outstanding progress most of them prefer self-study because they have discover many website and channel which provide proper guidance for them.
In conclusion, In this generation due to the development on Internet and AI it is not necessary for student to attend the formal classes. Therefore, I firmly disagree with the idea of compulsory formal course.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have clearly stated your position and addressed the prompt by arguing that AI and self-study methods have rendered traditional teacher assistance less necessary. The ideas are relevant and generally well-supported, particularly your point about AI's versatility. However, the development of your arguments could be more nuanced. For instance, while you mention AI's ability to pinpoint mistakes, you could have provided a more concrete example of how this replaces a human teacher's role in motivation or complex feedback. The response covers all parts of the task, but the supporting evidence remains somewhat general. To reach a higher band, ensure that your examples are more specific and fully explored to demonstrate a deeper level of critical thinking.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'In fact', and 'In conclusion' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel slightly abrupt. For example, the shift from discussing AI to the benefits of independent study could be smoother. Additionally, there are some minor issues with referencing; for instance, 'that goes same for study English' is a bit awkward and impacts the clarity of the progression. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate, and the central ideas are easy to follow throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'versatility', 'optimize', and 'advancement'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'the difficulties face by the students' (should be 'faced') and 'the necessity of the teacher assistance... had decline' (should be 'has declined'). You also have some repetitive phrasing, such as using 'study' or 'studying' multiple times in close proximity. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure that your verb forms and word endings are accurate. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, it lacks the sophistication and precision required for a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that, while they do not impede communication, are noticeable. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('it have infinite knowledge'), incorrect verb tenses ('have discover'), and missing articles or prepositions ('study English' instead of 'studying English'). Additionally, there are punctuation errors, such as the double comma in the conclusion. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb tenses and pluralization. Increasing the variety of your complex sentence structures while ensuring they are error-free will help you achieve a higher score in this criterion.
