Student answer (Band 5.0)
Students now days are very fast because they have more knowledge then past peoples. New ways of study like social media online research help them a lot.T think they have no need of guider for their studies .So i completely agree with that statement students have no need of a teacher.
Formal course is a time waste thing with also money loosing. Students have to gain new experiences when they menage their studies and time independently it is also helpful for them in their further practical life . For example if a scientists have to make any medicine they cannot pass in first attempt they won after little mistakes . It also a source of generating good abilities in student .
Furthermore, student in this find many skills in it . For examples newton find their laws by using their own mindset and he succeed. It is not completely right sometimes you need a teacher for example more 80% in the world need a helper to drive a car. Butt i think it lies on sometimes butt self study is more satisfying. If you have any difficulties you have to find it not to ask someone to tell the solution.
Conclusion , it is not cumbersome for English learner to teach them self on their own . Mobile phone took place of teacher and this make enjoyable for student to do . These are the main things that in prefer self based working not to depends upon any one who solves your problem .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of self-study. However, the development of ideas is limited and often lacks logical depth. For instance, the comparison to scientists and Newton is underdeveloped and does not directly support the argument regarding English language learning. The essay tends to over-generalize, and the reasoning is occasionally contradictory, such as acknowledging the need for a teacher to drive a car but then dismissing the need for one in language learning without a clear justification. To improve, you should provide more specific, relevant examples and ensure your arguments are consistently linked to the topic of English language acquisition.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'Furthermore', 'For example'), they are sometimes applied mechanically or incorrectly. The transition between ideas is frequently abrupt, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical flow. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'it' in 'student in this find many skills in it'. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that builds upon the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, which restricts the ability to convey complex ideas. There are several instances of awkward word choices and non-standard collocations, such as 'time waste thing', 'money loosing', and 'menage their studies'. Some words are used incorrectly, such as 'guider' instead of 'guide' or 'tutor'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express nuanced arguments, relying on basic phrasing. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to education and academic study, and practice using synonyms to avoid repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'students have no need', 'scientist have to make'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, and punctuation is often misused. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are frequently inaccurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Proofreading for common errors like 'students now days' (nowadays) and 'butt' (but) is essential.
