A huge number of students choose to study English independently on a self- study basis rather than attend a formal course. However, without the assistance of a teacher, students often find it difficult to manage their studies.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

English is the international language, spoken in every continent of the world. some people think studying online English is easy and understandable but also the students should attain their formal classes too because some students need the assistance of the teacher to understand English. I completely partially agree with this given statement.

to begin with the online English classes are easily available on the internet. it is very convenient, because you can attain the online classes from anywhere. the online class has also some disadvantages such, students get easily distracted, there is no one to clarify your mistake. for an example, the student wrote an essay on particular topic by witching internet video, after finishing the writing he/she has no one to clarify that what kind of mistake is there in the essay.

on the contrary the orthodox method there is a teacher who teach the English in a step-by-step manner. the teacher also gives homework about what he/she thought in that particular topic and also evaluate the students' knowledge by asking frequent questions during lecture. for an example, the in the India the English is studied from the 3rd standard, it gets more and more complex in every standard. the student also understand how to form sentence, how to write English and other things about English such the grammar, and spellings. in the orthodox teaching method the student get less distracted because there is not a single distraction in the class environment.

conclusion: it concludes that the internet holds the more knowledge about English but the students need both their teacher and internet knowledge to improve their knowledge and to learn new language.
