Student answer (Band 5.5)
There has been ongoing debate that a large proportion of students decided to learned English subject on their own self Rather than take regular classes. Nevertheless, The attention of teachers is very essential for them to learn otherwise they face a lot of problems related to their studies. I totally agree with that statement because English is very important subject for a successful educational career. Therefore, It is good students to be teach by someone professional.
Supporting my agreement with statement, The first and foremost essential thing is that The main purpose of education is not only to give knowledge to pupils but also polish their personalities to became a excellent human being. Due to which I think for any field educational institutes are extremely important. The globalisation of world encourage students to get involve in self study which is also a positive development. However, To remain consistent with any subject educational departments and teachers play a very crucial role.
In regards to my agreement, The another reason is English study is mainly about grammer and logical thinking. Students always need help for them self to became a intelligent student of English. English language is worldwide acceptable for that reason it is a good way if student have basic knowledge from their tutors in schools and colleges. One of the good illustration of that their is a survey in my country in different schools about the percentage of successful students who are attached with their teacher or attend formal courses. The results are very good and they achieve high percentage as compared to them who study independently.
In Conclusion, Both arguments have their own merits. However, I firmly believe that for subject like english which involve logical thinking tutors and formal educational institutes are more valuable than students study by their own self.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The student addresses the prompt by clearly taking a position agreeing with the statement that students find it difficult to manage studies without a teacher. The position is maintained throughout the response, though the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and contains sweeping generalisations, such as claiming the main purpose of education is to polish personalities. While all parts of the prompt are addressed, some ideas remain slightly under-developed or vague, such as the anecdotal survey reference. Overall, the response meets the criteria for Band 6 because it addresses all parts with a clear, albeit limited, position and relevant ideas that are supported to an adequate degree.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The response is arranged into four paragraphs, showing a clear overall structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical. The student uses basic cohesive devices like 'Nevertheless', 'Therefore', 'However', and 'In Conclusion', but referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'Due to which I think for any field...' and 'The another reason is...'. Paragraphing is used, but logical progression within paragraphs is occasionally disrupted by abrupt shifts in topic, such as jumping from personality development to globalisation in the second paragraph. This places the performance firmly at Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'globalisation', 'independent', and 'formal courses'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'learned' instead of 'learn', 'grammer', 'became' instead of 'become', and 'intelligent student' instead of 'proficient learner'. These errors do not completely impede communication, but they cause some difficulty for the reader and show limited precision. These features align with the Band 5 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('It is good students to be teach', 'student have basic knowledge'), incorrect prepositions, and structural awkwardness ('for them self to became a intelligent student'). Attempts at complex structures are often faulty, and punctuation is occasionally misused. While meaning remains generally recoverable, the high frequency of errors places this text at Band 5.
