IELTS Writing Task 2 question

A huge number of students choose to study English independently on a self- study basis rather than attend a formal course. However, without the assistance of a teacher, students often find it difficult to manage their studies.

To what extent do you agree or disagree ?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge experience.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

A large amount of students select to study English outonomously on a self study basic buth the other hand select a formal course. Nevertheless, without any help of a tutor, students usually find it tough to organize their studies.I am agree this statement that self study is better than to chose the teacher.

Firstly, in modern days more and ore students use the internet because internet is basic need in ourlife nowadays. Because every single person use the internet and they show our talent on internet and earn a lot of money. In this situation most of student prefer to use a self study while comparing the learning new skills in schools or colleges. For example, there are lots of learing apps provide a learning skills thats why students prefer to chose self study at their home.

Secondly, in my country most of people can not effort a large amount of fees of schools,colleges and other institute that they prefer to chose a self study and they usinng the help of internent and they gain a heigh marks in exams. For example, if a student daily attend the only classes and they not spend a time on self study the result is low grade marks. But the other side, there are some disadvantages on a self study the basic one is a student cannot solve their problem while using the internet then they need good teacher I think this is is basic problem.

In my prespective, self study is better than at home while to attend a lots of useless classes nowadys.But in past I believed to attend a classes while a self study because in past we have no internet and we were not solve teir problems at home.
