IELTS Writing Task 2 question
A huge number of students choose to study English independently on a self- study basis rather than attend a formal course. However, without the assistance of a teacher, students often find it difficult to manage their studies.
To what extent do you agree or disagree ?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge experience.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
To attend regular courses or study imdependently are two different school of thoughts. Every student has his own personal perception about it: wheather to study English independently by using their piror knowledge or rather than having proper classes for this purpose.
It is often assume that without the proper guidess of a teacher learners find it difficult to organize the decent way of studies.
I am totally disagree with this opinon that student chose self study of any course especially the course of English.
To proceed with my opinion: students should not choose the option of study English course independently because lots of crusial and important things can only be learned through the assistance of teacher.Only teacher can tought the minor and major details of the course.
In my student hood,during my self study of English course i was totally unable to construct the simple sentence.also i was unaware the term of tenses: which was the major chapter of the course.for this regard i opproach to my senior teacher of my school.she guide me through out the course.
at the end i passed my course with high percentage due to the assistance of my teacher.
students who belived on their prior knowledge failed badly when they study independently.the major reason for this is that they could not maintain the balance between their course and other studies.mote than that they also not put that much effoert while studying the course on their own.it is better for the students to take help with their course teachers.
