Student answer (Band 5.0)
English is the gobel language which is widly use in most countries. Every student have their own objective to study english for varient purposes. Some students get classes for learning and some not. Here we are going to discuss both opinion with examples.
I belived without english instructor there will be diffcult to understand english deeply. the reason is that english have so much varriations in speaking acent and spelling or vocabullary for example UK and USA have different styles in all aspect of english. It is realy diffcult to go through both countries english acent. Students have varient courses and topics in which english have been used without the teacher guidence it will be diffcult to understand the inside of topics. For my prospective students must take his/her instructor assistance for their english studies.
Here i want to share my personal experience why i belived it will be diffcult to learn english independently. In my school life there was no proper assistance for english learning becasue of this I had faced diffculty in my colleage and university life where i needed to give prensentations, make assignments in these both proper english was uased without any grammertical error , spelling error and proper sentence making.Meanwhile, in presentations i faced lack of confidence because i dont know how to speak fluent english while giving prenstation in front of teacher and other class fellows. It took me more time to develop my confidence in front others.
I felt that if the student have english native or they learn english from primary class under the supervition of teacher for that student with growing age they dont need any assistance in their future because they had hai clear understanding of english grammer and volcubary from the start that student easily do self-study to improve their english.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the task partially, attempting to discuss the extent of agreement regarding independent versus teacher-guided English learning. A position is discernible through personal anecdotes and statements like "students must take his/her instructor assistance," but it is not consistently maintained or clearly outlined throughout the essay. The ideas presented are limited and frequently under-developed, relying heavily on generalized assertions about accents, spelling, and a single personal school experience rather than fully expanding on the broader implications of self-study versus formal instruction. To reach higher bands, the writer needs to present fully developed, extended arguments that explore both sides of the issue with greater depth and clarity.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organization apparent in the separation of the response into distinct paragraphs, including an introduction and a personal experience section. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas throughout the text, and the logical transitions between paragraphs are weak. Cohesive devices are used inadequately or repetitively, such as the repeated reliance on simple phrases like "here we are going to discuss" and "here i want to share." Paragraphing is also somewhat erratic, with the main body ideas blending together without seamless transitions. Achieving higher standards in this area would require clearer logical sequencing and a more skillful, varied application of cohesive devices to guide the reader smoothly through the arguments.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for conveying basic ideas, featuring frequent errors in spelling, word choice, and word form that cause noticeable difficulty for the reader. Examples include misspelled words like "gobel" for global, "widly" for widely, "varient" for various/variant, "belived" for believed, "diffcult" for difficult, "acant" for accent, "volcubary" for vocabulary, and "grammertical" for grammatical. These issues stem from a restricted lexical range that struggles to move beyond basic terminology. To improve significantly, the writer must expand their working vocabulary, pay closer attention to spelling and word forms, and attempt less common lexical items with greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of sentence structures, relying primarily on simple sentences with frequent attempts at complex structures that result in faulty formations. There are persistent, frequent errors in basic grammar, verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles—such as "Every student have their own objective," "english have so much varriations," and "if the student have english native." These errors often cause difficulty and require the reader to re-read to grasp the intended meaning. Progressing further would require achieving better control over basic sentence construction, reducing the density of grammatical errors, and demonstrating an accurate mix of simple and complex structures.
