Student answer (Band 5.5)
Numerous students prefer to learn English language by theirselves in stead of attend classes. However, without a mentor it's a difficults for students to manage their studies because teachers always guide their students in a better way. I completely agree with this statement without a teacher students can't learn conveniently and cannot obtain good marks.
To begin with, that students who thought they can learn easily by theirselves without any guidence of teachers they can't obtain good result. For instance, if students go to a particular institute for learning English language teachers help them to learn grammar, vocabulary and also help them how to speak English language.Furthermore, learning English language is also a good skill for those students who want to go abroad for study purpose and improve their career opportunities. If they are fimiliar with English language they will conveniently manage each and every thing there. Such as, if they want to eat anything go to any grocery shop they will easily communicate with shopkeepers there and tell them which product they need and purchase.
On the other hand, without any teacher it's difficult for students their studies and espeacially learning English language because teacher can help practically their students. Those students who thought they can learn English from internet at home they can face difficulties learning from internet for instance, sometimes poor connection of internet, and internet learning is will not give them a certicate. Additionally, if students learn English language from a qualified teachers they will help them more then learning from internet such as, teachers help them practically speaking English language with them and correct their pronounciation. Teachers also guide them how to write English with grammar correction.
In conclusion, learning English language from well qualified teacher is much better then leanring ourself. Because teachers helps and correct out mistakes wo made.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position that you agree with the statement regarding the difficulties of independent English study without a teacher. You present relevant ideas, such as the benefit of teacher guidance for grammar and speaking practice, and mention learning English for traveling or studying abroad. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others; for instance, the points about studying abroad are slightly superficial and drift into general benefits of English rather than directly answering how management of studies is affected. To move to a higher level, you should extend and fully support all your main arguments with deeper elaboration rather than relying on repetitive examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your essay has a coherent overall arrangement with clear attempts at paragraphing, separating your introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'On the other hand' to signal transitions between ideas. However, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty, and referencing is not always clear, such as in sentences like 'without any teacher it's difficult for students their studies'. There is a lack of smooth progression within paragraphs, and sentences sometimes feel disjointed. To achieve a higher band, you need to use cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure that each sentence flows logically into the next without abrupt shifts in thought.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using topic-related words such as 'mentor', 'grammar', 'vocabulary', 'pronounciation', and 'certificate'. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice and word formation, such as writing 'by theirselves' instead of 'by themselves', 'difficults' instead of 'difficulty', and 'leanring ourself'. There are also spelling errors like 'fimiliar' and 'espeacially'. These errors do not completely impede communication, but they restrict your score. To improve, you should expand your control of less common lexical items, ensure correct word forms, and pay closer attention to spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Your writing displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures like conditional sentences and relative clauses, such as 'if students go to a particular institute... teachers help them'. However, you make frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing articles ('without a teacher', 'from internet'), incorrect prepositional patterns ('learn English language by theirselves'), and run-on sentences that lack proper punctuation. While these errors rarely impede overall communication, they prevent the text from reaching a higher band where error-free sentences would be more frequent. To progress, you need to improve your control over basic sentence boundaries, subject-verb agreement, and article usage.
