A huge number of students choose to study English independently on a self- study basis rather than attend a formal course. However, without the assistance of a teacher, students often find it difficult to manage their studies.

Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, most of the student study English by them self instead of getting proper training from teacher. But students get problems while studing if there is no any teacher. So I strongly with this statement there should be guidness of teacher because they provide direction and assist during any difficulty as well as they keep students motivated and disciplined.
At the beginning, students have proper guidness from their teacher. One of the primary reason is that, if students suffer any difficulty in study where teachers help to resolved their problem and provide proper direction, correct mistakes which helps students to achieve their acedemic goal. Consequence, students improve their acedemic performance and better grades. For instance, in Korea, 90% institues provide proper instruction their students to improve their grades also helps them to achieve goals.
Furthermore, getting advice from teachers can hepl students develop and broaden their communication skills. In addition, students may have to opportunity to study abroad where they can gain greater knowladge and develop thier language skills. As a result, students can build better careers and secure their futures by getting advantage of these opportunities. However, when students belong to low families cannot afford to learn from teachers, they can study independently with the help of television, smartphones, and other online resources.
To conclude, getting knowladge from teacher is benefical as they help to clarify mistakes and motivated to give better performance. Therefore I firmly agree with this view. But when students cannot afford to learn form teachers, they can study by self with the help of digital resources.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response partially addresses the task. The student attempts to discuss the extent to which they agree with the statement about independent study versus teacher assistance, but the position is sometimes unclear or repetitive, particularly in the introduction where the thesis statement is confused ('So I strongly with this statement...'). Ideas are presented, such as teachers providing direction, motivation, and correction of mistakes, but these points remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the example regarding Korea ('90% institues provide proper instruction their students') is overly generalized and lacks sufficient elaboration. To move to a higher level, the writer needs to present a fully articulated position throughout the response and extend their main ideas with more relevant, detailed explanations and fully supported examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organization to the essay, dividing the points into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, but there is a lack of clear overall progression. Paragraphing is attempted, though the logical flow between sentences within paragraphs is occasionally disrupted. Cohesive devices are used, but they are sometimes repetitive, mechanical, or inaccurately applied, such as the awkward transitional phrases 'At the beginning' and 'Consequence,'. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it harder for the reader to follow the exact progression of thought. To achieve a higher score, the writer must ensure that ideas logically sequence from one to the next with smoother, more flexible cohesive devices and clearer overall paragraph progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited but minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'independently', 'institution', and 'resources', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling, such as 'studing', 'guidness', 'acedemic', 'hepl', and 'knowladge'. Furthermore, collocation is occasionally awkward, for example, 'get problems' or 'low families'. These lexical inadequacies and frequent spelling mistakes cause some difficulty for the reader and impede the fluency of the writing. To improve, the student should expand their vocabulary range and focus on accurate word forms, correct spelling, and natural collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay displays a very limited range of sentence structures. While there are a few attempts at complex sentences, these are frequently faulty or incomplete, such as 'One of the primary reason is that, if students suffer any difficulty in study where teachers help to resolved their problem...'. There are frequent errors in basic grammar, including subject-verb agreement ('student study', 'institues provide'), missing articles, incorrect prepositions, and verb tense inconsistencies. These errors occur throughout the text and frequently cause difficulty for the reader. To reach a higher standard, the writer needs to demonstrate a greater variety of complex structures with good control, aiming for a higher proportion of error-free sentences.
