Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address the topic by discussing online self-study, access for people in remote areas, and the possible value of teachers. However, your position is difficult to identify: the opening says self-study offers benefits, while the conclusion says some learners cannot study without teachers, without clearly stating how far you agree with the claim. Several points are relevant but remain general. For example, you mention online resources and transport difficulties, but do not explain in detail how these affect students’ ability to manage their learning. The example about your own study is also unclear. The response is 23 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your reasons. State your position directly and support each main point with a clear explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so there is some basic organisation. The body paragraphs also attempt to separate online learning from access difficulties. However, the overall progression is not clear because the argument shifts between the benefits of self-study and the need for teachers, and the conclusion does not resolve this contrast. Some linking phrases are inaccurate or do not show the intended relationship: “Although” begins a sentence without a main clause, while “On the hand” is incomplete. References such as “these learning strategies” are also unclear. Use a consistent position to guide the paragraph order, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and access, including “online platforms,” “professional teachers,” “low income families” and “remote areas.” These choices show some range, but the vocabulary is limited and errors in word choice, spelling and collocation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “learn compartibly,” “save of their time and money” and “vast majority of knowledge” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also spelling errors such as “instidutes,” “thier” and “convienient.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than using words that sound formal but do not fit the context. Proofreading and learning common collocations for education would make your ideas clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “Although” and a reason introduced by “because.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to understand. For example, “students faced some difficulties to handle their educations” has problems with tense, number and sentence pattern, while “every person learn” lacks subject–verb agreement. In “teacher can act a best way,” the article and structure are also incorrect. The conclusion, “some individuals habe no any ability to learn English without from teachers,” is difficult to interpret. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add clauses with clear punctuation and correct verb forms.
