Student answer (Band 5.5)
A larger number of pupils offers to learn English independently on a self-study terms rather than a learning class or course. But they find problem without the guidence of master and also they don't manage it. I am disagree with this trend, because in my country English is not a daily speaking language and the assistance of a teacher to help is very nessecary.
Firstly, teachers play an important part in student life by teaching them.
So, a student would never rely on self base study. For example, a student find difficulty in its grammer he can't understand it without the assistance of a teacher. Teacher help him by how to use verb and adverb and make it correcton. Similarly, if a student face problem in speaking English teacher help him to make his fluency better because he can't do it by ownself.
On the other hand, the pupil who attend the English classes and guided by a teacher is very good in writing reading and speaking because in formal class you can learn step by step. For example, a student who don't know about noun and verb and start learning active passive voice tense it would be more difficult for him. Whereas, a student who take the English class regularly can easily tackle any problem because in lectures you learn from start and due to teacher efforts your grammer and fluency become better.
In conclusion, the guidence of teacher is very important in student life because they cannot do any things by own. Teacher helps to imporve your writing, speaking and reading as well. That why students need to attend formal classes regularly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you disagree with independent study and argue that teacher guidance is important, particularly where English is not used in daily life. You address the question with relevant examples about grammar, speaking, and learning in sequence. However, the discussion focuses mainly on why classes help, rather than fully examining the specific difficulty of managing independent study. Some points are asserted rather than explained—for example, that students “cannot do any things by own” is too absolute and is not supported. To strengthen the response, explain how a teacher helps learners set goals, choose materials, and monitor progress, and acknowledge briefly that independent study can work for some students.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The paragraphs generally keep to one main topic, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, the second body paragraph does not clearly contrast with the first; both mainly explain the benefits of teacher-led learning. Some links are mechanical, and references such as “it” in “he can't understand it” are not fully clear. Improve progression by giving each paragraph a distinct purpose—for example, one on the limits of self-study and one on how formal teaching supports progress—and use more precise links between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a basic range of topic vocabulary, including “self-study,” “assistance,” “formal class,” “fluency,” and “active passive voice.” These choices make your main meaning understandable. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and several collocations sound unnatural, such as “offers to learn,” “self base study,” and “make his fluency better.” Spelling errors, including “guidence,” “grammer,” and “imporve,” also weaken control. Aim to learn common education-related word partnerships and check spelling carefully. More precise phrasing would help you express the argument without relying repeatedly on “teacher,” “student,” and “help.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional example (“if a student…”) and a contrast with “Whereas.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. For example, “a student find difficulty” needs subject–verb agreement, while “the pupil who attend” also requires a plural or singular form to match. The sentence beginning “For example, a student who don't know…” shifts between singular and plural forms. Practise checking each subject against its verb and keeping pronouns consistent. Build accuracy in shorter sentences before adding more complex clauses.
