Student answer (Band 4.5)
Some people believe that lot of students choose to study English independently on a self study basis rather than attend a formal course, therefore without the assistance of a teacher, students often find it difficult to manage their studies. I disagree that statement completely because self studying habit save the money of tuesation fee and find multiple resources from internet and different factors to improve the hard working habit.
Self studying habit make the person more active towards the finding resources from different source to make aware or acknowledge about the things. The self studying habit can assist student to save the money which spent on tuesation fee whereas it reduce the stress of financial problem in students life. Some person do self study to maintain their cost and daily life balance whereas some depend in their salary to eat and feed to family.
The self studying habit make person more active and hardworker towards the goal becouse of they have only one option to aquire the knowledge by self practicing method rather than attending the physical classes. The person who have not the rich or well known family he must do work hard for study due to lack of budget, family background, and support of people. Thats why every time the lack of attending class is not the choice of student but who suffer and do manage their life they become success in their life. Some student find difficulties to study alone because lack of research and the technological knowledge.
In conclusion, most of the student who do proper research and able to utilize the technoogy to finding the solution and take assist to reduce the problem in a good way they did not get any difficulties.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is stated clearly in the introduction: “I disagree … completely,” and the response gives relevant reasons, especially the potential to save course fees and develop independent study habits. However, the argument only partially addresses the central claim about whether learners struggle to manage their studies without a teacher. Much of the discussion focuses on financial hardship and personal effort, while the final paragraph briefly acknowledges that some students have difficulty because of limited research or technology skills without explaining how this affects study management. Develop this counterpoint and support your main claims with a specific example. The ideas are relevant, but several remain general or under-explained, which limits the response’s completeness.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly group reasons together. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the second body paragraph moves from self-discipline to family background, financial limitations and eventual success without clearly showing how each point supports the argument. Linking expressions such as “whereas,” “That’s why” and “In conclusion” are used, but connections can be mechanical or unclear, and “therefore” in the opening sentence does not establish a clear relationship between the ideas. Use topic sentences to signal each paragraph’s main point, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence. Clearer referencing and fewer abrupt shifts would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “independently,” “resources,” “financial problem” and “technological knowledge.” These choices show an effort to discuss study methods and access to education. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, sometimes making meaning less clear. For example, “tuesation fee” appears to mean tuition fees, “maintain their cost” is unclear, and “take assist” is not a natural expression. There are also spelling errors such as “becouse,” “aquire” and “technoogy.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing independent learning, costs and teacher support, and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses linked with “because,” “whereas” and “rather than.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some ideas difficult to interpret. Examples include “Self studying habit make,” “it reduce the stress,” and “The person who have … he must do work hard.” The opening sentence is also overloaded, with an unclear connection between its clauses. Practise building accurate sentences around one main idea, checking subject–verb agreement and singular/plural forms. Then add subordinate clauses carefully, and use full stops to separate ideas when a sentence becomes difficult to control.
