Student answer (Band 4.0)
A huge number of students choose to study English independently on a self- study basis rather than attend a formal course. However, without the assistance of a teacher, students often find it difficult to manage their studies.
yes it is true that some people find it personally difficult because some students want to learn english for their bright future and to do a lot of jobs in abroad countries. whenever they tried to learn english some students that are bright and always do everything by their own selfness that makes them differnt from everyone and they do everything brightly . but their are also some peoples are some students that are dull and less active in study if they want to learn english for thire bright future it make them less brighter then those studentds which are very bright in studies they feel some hidden barriers and they face some difficulties while they are trying to learn english by themselves without the help of any teacher that makes english a little bit harder.
in my opinion . if i consider my self as . i am also a dull student i was never a good in reading or study. when i was get in this field that makes me average from other bright and intlegent students.
And while my friend who was very bright in study he done his ebnglish learning very easily as compared to mr.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You address the topic by saying that some learners struggle without a teacher, and you give a personal example about finding English study difficult compared with a brighter friend. However, your position on the extent to which you agree is not clearly stated or maintained, and the reasons are only briefly explained. The contrast between “bright” and “dull” students is repeated rather than developed with specific examples of how a teacher helps learners manage their studies. The response also does not meet the 250-word minimum: 37 words copied from the prompt are excluded from the count, leaving 50 words still needed. To improve, state your view directly and develop each reason with a relevant example and explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the first paragraph discusses students who struggle, and the next introduces your personal experience. Linking expressions such as “in my opinion” and “while” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the first paragraph is very long and moves between several points without clear progression; the repeated contrast between “bright” and “dull” students makes the argument difficult to follow. The final comparison with your friend is also incomplete, so the response does not reach a clear conclusion. Use separate paragraphs for your position, reasons and example, and make each paragraph develop one main point in a logical order.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to education and learning, including “independently,” “formal course,” “barriers,” and “difficulties.” These choices help communicate the general topic. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “bright,” “dull,” and “learn English.” There are also inaccurate or unnatural choices, such as “by their own selfness” and “less brighter,” which make parts of the meaning unclear. Spelling errors such as “differnt,” “thire,” and “intlegent” further reduce precision. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for learning challenges and support, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional idea beginning “if they want to learn English.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, sentence construction, agreement and punctuation often make the response hard to read. For example, “when I was get in this field” has an incorrect verb form, while “he done his English learning” does not use the correct past-tense structure. Several sentences run together, and full stops are placed awkwardly, as in “in my opinion . if i consider my self as .” Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine ideas with accurate clauses and punctuation.
