Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a position in the introduction—“I do believe that latter viewpoint is much more viable”—and give a relevant reason, namely that learners may struggle without a mentor. However, the response addresses the question only minimally: it does not explain in detail how a teacher helps students manage their studies, and the opposing view is not developed at all. The paragraph beginning “On the one hand” contains unclear claims rather than a specific explanation or example, while “On the other hand” is left unfinished. The conclusion also shifts to saying both perspectives are valid, which weakens your earlier position. The response is 163 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough development to support the argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is an identifiable essay shape, with an introduction, a body paragraph, and a conclusion, and phrases such as “On the one hand” and “To sum up” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, ideas are not arranged coherently enough to form a clear progression. The second body paragraph consists only of “On the other hand,” and the first body paragraph moves between claims without explaining their connection. For example, “So every student should get for acadimic” does not clearly follow from the preceding sentence. The conclusion’s claim that both perspectives are valid also conflicts with the introduction. Complete each paragraph with connected supporting points and use transitions only where they accurately reflect the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “mentor,” “formal course,” “viewpoints,” and “opportunity,” so the reader can recognise that the essay concerns English learning. However, the range is basic and several spelling and word-choice errors make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “commun,” “singificantly,” “resonse,” and “verdicit”; phrases such as “without no help” and “it is great opportunity to know English” are also unnatural or unclear. These problems fit a limited vocabulary range in which errors can strain the reader. Build a reliable set of expressions for independent learning, teacher guidance, study plans, and progress, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You make some attempts to connect clauses, as in “If student learn without teacher after that it result…,” and use a few simple sentence forms. However, the range is very limited, and frequent errors in sentence structure and basic grammar sometimes distort meaning. For example, “lots of student select” lacks plural agreement, “other think” has an agreement error, and “without no help” uses an incorrect negative construction. The sentence beginning “If student learn…” has several problems with articles, verb forms, and clause structure, making the intended point hard to understand. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “To sum up, Based…”. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
