Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the topic by discussing formal courses and independent study, and your conclusion gives a position: learning depends on the individual, although a teacher can make study easier. However, the extent of your agreement is not clearly established or maintained. The opening says the essay will discuss “both the perpestive and my opnion,” but does not state whether you agree that learners struggle without a teacher. Several points are relevant—such as online materials and the value of teacher feedback—but they are asserted rather than explained with specific examples. Develop the central claim by explaining when self-study is difficult, why teacher support helps, and whether those difficulties apply to most learners or only some.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Additionally,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear because several points are placed together without showing how they connect. For example, the first body paragraph moves from course benefits to learner pace, then to managing studies, without a clear link to the question of studying without a teacher. The conclusion also introduces certificates and profile benefits that have not been developed earlier. Use topic sentences that directly express each paragraph’s main point, and connect supporting explanations more explicitly rather than relying mainly on transition words.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “formal course,” “fluency,” “daily practice,” “consistency” and “verbal speaking,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “advance materials,” “systemic time table,” “uniques ideas” and “improvemnet guidance.” Spelling errors—including “perpestive,” “capabilites” and “benifical”—also make the writing less controlled. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than using more elaborate wording: for instance, “structured timetable,” “learning resources” and “personalised feedback” would express your ideas more clearly. Proofreading for spelling and word forms would also improve readability.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “a routine which allows dicipline and consistency” and a conditional structure beginning “if a person follows.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in basic sentence patterns recur. Examples include “it is totally depends,” “how quickly can he adapt,” and “the problem can be manage easily.” There are also problems with articles and sentence construction, as in “English is most widely spoken language” and “I belive the to learn a skill or language.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise forming complete clauses, keeping standard word order in indirect questions, and checking verb forms after auxiliaries and passive constructions.
