Student answer (Band 4.0)

All inteligent students choose to study English, simple English and grammer English on a self-study. but also a some students prepare in English and go to a study abroad and prepare a ielts test. or passed a ielts test, proved a study visa or go to a study abroad in another country. Yes I agree this point students difficult to manage thier studies and some students leave the study becuase a manage thier study and difficult a study .

On the one hand, I disagree this point some students prepare this English, ielts test without the assistance of a teacher in this a student face a some difficulties becuase a no count this mistake and no observe this mistakes but the student not count this mistake.

On the another hand, I am full agree this point student keep it up a English test with assistance of a teacher, By the way teacher cover up a mistske in the student and count this mistake or help in a cover up with student. teacher help in a student and very care this student.

I conclusion, and relevant examples and my opinion very simple this becuase a some students study in Englich on a self- study and cover a grammer , verbs and tenses in a courses. but the students cover a mistake in english vocabulary or a student high range in knowledge and experience or a student study in basic english and ielts go to a study abroad.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You express a general view that students can struggle without a teacher, and you briefly acknowledge the opposing case: learners may prepare for IELTS independently but lack someone to identify their mistakes. However, the position is not consistently clear: you begin with “Yes I agree,” then say “I disagree this point,” before stating “I am full agree.” The discussion remains minimal and does not fully explain when independent study works or why teacher support is important. The examples about IELTS and studying abroad are relevant, but they are listed rather than developed with a specific situation or explanation. The response is also four words below the required minimum. Develop one or two reasons with clear examples and state your position consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the another hand,” and “I conclusion” show an effort to guide the reader. However, the ideas within paragraphs are difficult to follow, and the progression between them is not always logical. For example, the opening moves rapidly from self-study to IELTS, visas and studying abroad without explaining how these points connect. Repeated references to “mistake” also make the argument feel circular rather than progressive. Use each paragraph for one main reason, explain it in a clear sequence, and use pronouns or linking phrases only when their references are clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “self-study,” “assistance of a teacher,” “IELTS test,” “vocabulary,” and “tenses.” These terms help identify the subject of the essay. However, the range is basic and several phrases are repeated, especially “study,” “student,” and “mistake.” A number of word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “prepare in English,” “cover up a mistake,” and “high range in knowledge.” Spelling errors, including “inteligent,” “grammer,” “thier,” and “becuase,” also reduce clarity. Build a small set of accurate phrases for discussing independent learning, feedback and progress, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The response attempts both short statements and longer sentences, and the contrast between the two body paragraphs suggests an effort to express different viewpoints. However, sentence structures are very limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “All inteligent students choose,” “I disagree this point,” and “I am full agree this point,” where sentence patterns and verb forms are not controlled. Articles, agreement and sentence boundaries are also problematic, as in “a some students” and the long opening sequence joined by full stops and fragments. Practise building clear subject–verb sentences first, then add one reason using “because” or “although.” Check articles, verb forms and punctuation in each sentence.
