Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You express a general view that students can learn English independently, especially with determination and modern technology, while also noting that teachers can identify mistakes and provide guidance. These points are relevant to the topic. However, the response does not clearly state how far you agree or disagree, and the discussion shifts between the benefits of teachers and independent study without resolving that contrast. Claims such as “AI help those students” and that learners can gain “benefits knowledge” are not explained with specific examples or developed reasoning. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly in the introduction, address the difficulty of managing study without a teacher, and support each main point with a relevant example and explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a recognisable focus on independent English study, and linking expressions such as “However,” “Also,” and “Nowadays” show an attempt to connect ideas. Nevertheless, the response reads largely as one continuous sequence rather than a clearly organised argument. Ideas about teachers, motivation, technology, employment, and faith appear without a clear progression, and several points are repeated, including that students have ability and should work hard. References such as “these problem” and “he” also make it difficult to identify exactly who or what is meant. Organise the essay into an introduction, separate body paragraphs for key reasons, and a conclusion. Use fewer repeated connectors and make each paragraph develop one central point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “independently,” “determination,” “motivates,” and “technology,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on “students,” “ability,” “work hard,” and “useful information.” Several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “the teacher is notes the mistakes,” “benefits knowledge,” and “have urge respectable job.” Spelling errors, including “initilly,” “independtly,” and “dissapoinment,” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise vocabulary for learning and support, such as “study plan,” “feedback,” and “learning resources,” and check spelling and word forms carefully. This would make your ideas easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic connectors, but most sentence patterns are simple, and control of sentence structure is limited. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur throughout, for example, “the must expert,” “AI help,” and “he learn.” Articles, plurals, and pronouns are also inconsistent, as in “these problem” and the repeated use of “he” for students generally. Punctuation and spacing are often inaccurate, making sentence boundaries unclear. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas with clauses such as “Although students may struggle at first, they can improve by following a study plan.” Check subject–verb agreement, plural forms, and full stops when editing.
