Student answer (Band 5.0)

Students choose self study for improveing his english because english is a global language its easy to understand it.

If a student select self study for english study instand for guldence of teracher its take some time for improveing but student can do by your self. If in a case student don't finansial stable for paying a faculty fees but students have a lot of thing for self study like they have online pdf or they have ai tools who have any query in any time they can slove it in any secound. Online a loat of documents and a teachis playlist avalible for study just watch a video and improve his english if they have and doubt use chatgpt ai,cloud,ai,gemini and any kind of ai soaftware.

A assistance of a teacher is also best think to easy way to study english beacause teacher teach you deeply like starting to ending And if you have any doubt in teacher leatcture solve a deeply. If you don't have any electronic devices or pdf they have no options for improveing a self study they have one and only oprion guidence of a teacher.

I belive both of things are importent like first one you guideance by teacher and extra time you can do self study for english so you have extra time to do for a english and a extra time like revise teacher what you can teach perepare a quistion for ai. Only self study or only teacher guidaines are not much as innuf for study english you want to marge both of them and time manage for all.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the issue by explaining that self-study can be affordable and supported by online resources, while a teacher can explain material and answer questions. Your final view—that combining teacher guidance with independent revision is best—does answer the question. However, the extent of your agreement is not stated clearly at the beginning, and some points remain general or unclear, such as “students have a lot of thing for self study.” The example of using AI tools is relevant, but it needs a specific illustration of how they help a learner. State your position directly in the introduction, then develop each main reason with a clear explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall structure: it introduces self-study, discusses its advantages, considers teacher support, and ends with a combined approach. This gives the reader a basic route through your ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several points are joined together in long sentences, and links such as “If in a case” and “And if” do not clearly show how ideas relate. References also become unclear in phrases such as “they have no options,” where the reader may not know who “they” refers to. Use one main idea per paragraph, organise reasons in a clear sequence, and use precise linking and referencing rather than repeating “and” or “if.”

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “self study,” “financially stable,” “online,” “teacher,” and “revise,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “study,” “teacher,” and “extra time.” Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices—such as “guldence,” “faculty fees,” and “playlist”—sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “a assistance of a teacher” and “marge both of them.” Build a more accurate set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations; choosing familiar words correctly is more effective than attempting unclear expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express reasons and conditions, for example with “because” and “if,” and you include both short statements and longer sentences. This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, many sentences contain errors in basic grammar, and longer attempts are often difficult to follow. Examples include “Students choose self study for improveing his english,” where the infinitive and pronoun do not fit, and “If a student select … its take some time,” where subject–verb agreement and sentence structure are faulty. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using one clear subordinate clause at a time; check verb forms and agreement during revision.
