Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The above bar graph illustrates the chances and reality of being victims by saying Perceived and actual likelihood of being a victim of crime on the basis of three different crimes: burglary, car crime and violent crime between the years [redacted phone].

Overall, it is clearly visible that perceived likelihood of being victim is more common in the given years rather than being the actual victim of crime. Car crime had the highest perceived likelihood in both years, while burglary had the lowest actual likelihood. However, the actual victim of the crime shows the similar trend in the two years by remaining at the lowest level.

In 2009/10, approximately 21% of people believed that they were likely to become victims of car crime. This was considerably higher than the figures for violent crime and burglary, at around 16% and 15% respectively. However, the actual likelihood was much lower, with about 5% of people becoming victims of car crime, compared with roughly 4% for violent crime and just over 2% for burglary.

In 2010/11, the perceived likelihood of all three types of crime declined. The figure for car crime fell to about 17%, while the percentages for violent crime and burglary dropped to approximately 14% and 13% respectively. In contrast, the actual figures increased slightly for burglary and violent crime, reaching around 3% and 4%. The actual likelihood of car crime remained almost unchanged at just below 5%.
