Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar graph below illustrates proportions of the preceived rick and actual likelihood of being a victim of a three major crimes namely burglary, car and violent crime in 2009,2010 and 2011.
Overall, it is evident that car crimes recorded the highest proportions, However people had a very high believed that criminal activities may happen, the percentage of preceived data were always high, conversely the actual data was recorded to much lower than expected throughout the trend.
firstly, in the years [redacted phone] slightly larger than one fifth of the population belived to have car crimes while the actual victims were nearly 5%, whereas 20% of the people precieved to be involved in violent and burglary crimes and actual data showed just almost 4% and 2% respectively.
Moving furthur in the years [redacted phone], more than 15% of the whole estimated to be involved in criminal activities related to car, the actual data showed almost 5% similar to the previous year. Although, predicted data of people the violent and bulglary offences were slighly less than 15% where as the actual records were slighly less than 5% of the whole.
