The bar graph illustrates the expected threat and real occurrence of being a victim of various criminal activities involving a burglary, a car crime, and a violent crime in 2009/10 and 2010/11.

Overall the graph shows that in both 2009/10 and 2010/11, the expentency of being a victim of a criminal activity and the actual crime rate was highest for a car crime.

In 2009/10, a perceived chance of being affected by illegal activities was highest for a car crime, representing a proportion of almost 21% while only 4-5% people were affected by such activity in reality. The hypothesized chance of occurring of harmful activities for a burglary and a violent crime was similar, having a percentage of 15. Comparing to it, the actual number was higher for a violent crime followed by a burglary.

In 2010/11, the trend of imagined and actual crime was similar to 2009/10 as also in 2010/11, criminal activities involving cars were the highest. Furthermore, the perceived proportion of happening of a burglary and a violent crime were almost 13%. On the other hand, the actual figure was higher for a violent crime as compared to a burglary.
