The graph below shows the perceived danger and actual likelihood of being a victim of crime.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar graph illustrates the perceived danger and actual likelihood of being a victim of crime between 2009 and 2011.

Overall, the proportion of Car crime had been perceived highest, accounted for 22% over the period, while the lowest percentage of crime shown on Burglary.

To began with, between the year 2009/10 Burglary and Violent crime are relatively stable, which has experienced around 15% respectively. By following year it seem declined from 3%, it around 13% in both the categories. The actual crime had done by community was dipped then perceived danger. In Burglary it showned 2 and 3 percentage, whereas, Violent crime seem similiar of 4%.

In addition, the proportion of Car crime had accounted for 21%, it has been decreased to 17% in year 2010/11. The actual car accident occured around 4% which was remained same in both the year. However, the percentage of actual car crime occures was the highest in all three catagories.
