The mentioned bar graph represents the percieved risk and the accurate possibility of being a victim of crime two different time period that too in three different types (burglary, car crime and violent crime). The units are measured in percentage.
Overall, the mostly held crime in both the year is car crime with the equality in actual prospect however, it seems the criminal cases in burglary and violent crime were evenely happened.
On the first hand, the cases in vehicle illagal act were on top both with 20% where the actual rate of crime was almost 5% by october 2009. Similary the actual illigal act was identical to previous data on Novemebr 2010 although the preceived amount of 2009 was in higher about 5% in comparision to the preceived data of 2010.
On the second hand, both the burglary and violent acts were evenly visible according to data received in 2009 and as well as 2010 that is 13%. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the chart’s subject and compare the three crime types across two periods, and you correctly note that car crime has the highest perceived and actual figures. However, several details are inaccurate or unclear: perceived car crime is about 21% in 2009/10 and 17% in 2010/11, not “20%” in both years, and the perceived figures for burglary and violent crime are not simply “13%.” The overview also says burglary and violent crime occurred evenly, which does not clearly describe the chart’s main pattern. A stronger response would state that perceived risk is much higher than actual victimisation for every crime type, and that perceived figures generally fell while actual figures rose slightly or stayed level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, an overview, and two paragraphs comparing crime categories. This gives the reader some organisation, and phrases such as “On the first hand” and “Furthermore” attempt to connect ideas. However, progression is difficult to follow because comparisons are mixed together and some references are unclear, as in “the previous data” and “the preceived amount of 2009.” The overview does not clearly prepare the reader for the details that follow, while “On the second hand” is an awkward transition rather than a clear organising link. Group the information consistently—for example, compare perceived and actual figures for car crime, then cover burglary and violent crime—and use precise references to each year.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “bar graph,” “percentage,” “actual rate,” and the three crime categories, so the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning difficult to interpret. “Mostly held crime,” “vehicle illagal act,” “evenely visible,” and “believed fearness” are not natural ways to describe the chart. There are also repeated spelling errors, including “percieved,” “Similary,” and “Novemebr.” Prefer standard chart language such as “highest perceived risk,” “actual victimisation rate,” and “the figures were similar.” More accurate, conventional vocabulary would make your comparisons clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a comparison introduced by “although” and a sentence beginning “Furthermore.” However, grammatical control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes make the message hard to follow. For example, “two different time period” needs a plural noun and a clearer construction, while “the criminal cases … were evenely happened” has an incorrect verb pattern. “The fact crime happed is to be seen in 2010 more highgly then in 2009” is also difficult to parse because the clause structure and tense are not controlled. Practise writing shorter, complete comparison sentences first, then combine them with accurate clauses such as “Although perceived risk fell, actual rates rose slightly.”
