below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The line graph illustrates the exports value of one country in different categories during 2015 and 2016 and the table below shows change in percentage in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015. The highest export earning in petroleum products in 2016 and the highest change the value of textile in 2015 to 2016.
The export value of petroleum product is 60 bi ions in 2015 and 61 bi ions in 2016. The value of engineered goods is 55 bi ions in 2015 and 59 in 2016. The export earning of gems and jewellery is almost 42 bi ions in 2015 and 38 bi ions in 2016. In agricultural products export earning is same in both years almost 30 bi ions. In textiles value is 26 bi ions in 2015 and 30 bi ions in 2016.
The product value change in both years petroleum products 8.5 percent, engineered goods is 3 percent, gems and jewellery 5. 18 percent, agriculture products 0. 81 percent and in textiles 15. 24 percent.
