Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers all parts of the task by identifying the main features of the table and bar chart. You have successfully selected key data points to compare, such as the highest and lowest export values and the percentage changes. However, the overview is slightly weak; while you mention the peak values and the surge in textiles, it could be more clearly synthesised to highlight the overall trends across the two years. The data is generally accurate, though there are minor inconsistencies in how you report the figures (e.g., '40 and 38 billions figure'). Overall, the response provides a clear summary of the information presented.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is logically organised into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for the bar chart and table, and a concluding summary. You use a range of cohesive devices such as 'meanwhile', 'whereas', 'lastly', and 'conversely' to link ideas. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or misused, such as 'On the other hand' in the introduction, which is not appropriate for introducing a second data source. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, and the paragraphing could be more refined to ensure a smoother flow between the two distinct data sets.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'dramatic surge', 'witnessed an incline', and 'plunged'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'roll up in percentage', 'accumulated quiet lower rise', and 'ration of Gems'. These errors occasionally distract the reader but do not impede communication. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic collocations and ensure that your spelling and word forms (e.g., 'percenatge', 'Pertoleum') are accurate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'It can be seen from the bar chart that...' and '...which was followed by...'. While you attempt complex structures, there are frequent grammatical errors, including missing articles ('the one country's'), subject-verb agreement issues ('Textiles noticed', 'Gems and jewellery accounted'), and punctuation errors (e.g., '60 to 62 billions and 58 to 60 billions, respectively'). These errors are noticeable but rarely prevent the reader from understanding the intended meaning. Increasing your control over basic grammar and proofreading for small slips would improve your score.
