IELTS Writing Task 1 question
below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
This figure demonstrates the changing in various product's exports percentages between 2015 and 2016.
At the first sight we notice the majority of products exports grown in 2016 compared to 2015 .
Firstly , petroleum products raised slightly in 2016 passing from 70 bilions $ to 73 bilions $ noting a raise by 3% witch is a quite acceptable , also , engineered goods known a significant raise with almost 8 bilions $ between 2015 and 2016 noting a raise by 8.5% , but exports of gems and jewellery droped from 2015 and 2016 by 5.18% passing from almost 53 to 48 witch is a very strange evolution and the agricultral products and textiles raised in 2016 compared to 2015 by respectlly 0.81% and 15.24% witch shows a very succesful textil production and exportation .
In conclusion , the exports of a various categories of products raised for almost all the products between 2015 and 2016.
