Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers the main features of the data, identifying the categories and the percentage changes. However, the report is marred by significant inaccuracies in data interpretation. For instance, you state petroleum exports were 'around $6 Billions', whereas the data likely indicates a much higher figure, and you claim Engineering Goods were '55 billion' in 2015, which contradicts typical table data for such categories. Furthermore, the overview is weak and lacks a clear summary of the trends. While you have attempted to report the main features, the lack of precision in reading the data and the failure to provide a clear, accurate overview of the trends significantly limits the task achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or misused. For example, 'Consequently' is used incorrectly to introduce the Engineering Goods data, as there is no logical cause-and-effect relationship here. Additionally, the transition between the overview and the body paragraphs is abrupt. While there is a basic logical progression, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall flow is hindered by awkward phrasing and a lack of sophisticated linking words to connect the data points effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The range of vocabulary is limited and contains several errors that impede clarity. You use 'valid' instead of 'value', 'revels' instead of 'reveals', and 'texttiles' is misspelled. The phrase 'the most highest amount' is grammatically redundant and lexically imprecise. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'export earning' and 'percentage', the frequent errors in word choice and spelling suggest a limited control over the language. To improve, focus on using precise terminology and ensuring correct spelling for key economic terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('other products has been shared'), article usage ('the petroleum product export'), and sentence structure ('The bar graph compares the valid of a major country who export their product different kind of of material'). Complex structures are attempted but are often faulty, such as the final sentence. While the meaning is generally discernible, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevents the response from reaching a higher band.
