Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have successfully identified the main features of the data and provided a clear overview. You included data from both the bar chart and the table, making relevant comparisons between the categories. However, there are some inaccuracies in the data reporting; for instance, you stated that textiles experienced the highest growth of 15.24%, which is correct, but your description of the export values in 2015 and 2016 for other categories is slightly imprecise compared to the provided figures. To reach a higher band, ensure that all data points are transcribed with absolute accuracy and that the relationship between the two data sets is more explicitly linked in your analysis.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The response is logically organized into an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In terms of', 'compared with', and 'followed by' to link ideas. However, the progression of ideas could be smoother. Some sentences feel slightly disjointed, and the transition between the bar chart data and the table data could be more fluid. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the export values from the percentage changes, which helps the reader navigate the information effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey the information clearly, using terms like 'maintained the largest share', 'contribution', and 'experienced a significant growth'. There are some minor errors in word choice and phrasing, such as 'table explains' (should be 'the table shows') and 'a highest improvments' (should be 'the highest improvement'). While the vocabulary is adequate for the task, incorporating more precise academic collocations would enhance the sophistication of your writing. Spelling is generally accurate, with the exception of 'improvments'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is clear, there are several grammatical slips, such as missing articles ('the table', 'the highest') and issues with subject-verb agreement or preposition usage ('accounted for around 55 billion... and just above 60 billion'). Some sentences are slightly clunky, such as 'Textiles and Agriculture products accounted for... respectively'. To improve, focus on consistent article usage and refining the structure of comparative sentences to ensure they are grammatically sound and error-free.
