below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The graph illustrates the percentage change in category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015. At a glance, Agricultural products remained constant though both the years.
Firstly, During the year 2015 the petroleum products were at 70 billions where as increased by 3% by the year 2016. Secondly, Engineered good rapidly increased by 8% in 2016. Furthermore, Gems and jewellery decreased upto 5.18%. Moreover, Textiles gradually increased by 15.24% till the year 2016, whereas the agricultural products slightly decreased by 0.81% from 2015 to 2016.
In Conclusion, The Textiles earnings had increased the most by the year 2016 and was the lowest during the year 2015.
