IELTS Writing Task 1 question

below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The double bar graph shows of a country's export in different categories of two years is 2015 and 2016.

More export earnings are in petroleum products and very less in textiles. About percentage changes is very large increase on textiles and decrease in gems and jewellery.

If I talk about an individual product category on year 2015 in decreasing order petroleum products, engineered goods, gems and jewellery, agricultural products, textiles. This order remains same in 2016. In compression to both year every products shows increase except gems and jewellery it sees decrease. About percentage change in values petroleum products increases 3%, agricultural products increases 0.81%, textiles increases 15.24%, engineered goods increases 8.5%, and only gems and jewellery decreases 5.18%. This export if much growing yearly. Maximum export is n petroleum products it is also a very necessary now days. It uses in many different ways such as in car, machine, etc.
