below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The provided information illustrates the proportion changes in the exprots in five different categories of a single country throughout the period from 2015 to 2016.
Overall, it is quite evident from the given data that the textiles export earning has significant rose over the period form the rest of the categories, followed by the engineered goods, while the export of the agricultural products has been wrost experienced. Moreover, Gems and jewellery has one the category which fell over the given period.
To began with, in 2015 the petroleum products was exported nearly $60 billion, which boost its export rate in the next year of over $62 billion in 2016, that make up only 3% change in export value that make the most significant rate. Futhermore, in 2015, the engineered goods has been shifted of approximately $55 billion, which was significantly increased in 2016 up to $61 billion, which make up a considerable change of 8.5% in export rate. Moreover, the gems and jewellery googs was exchange between tow country in 2015 of around over $52 billion, in later in 2016 it was dramatically declined under $50 billion, which made up 5.18% decrease in export rate.
Moving further, in 2015 the agricultural products was exported in a manimal amount of over $40 billion, this rate has been increased of just 0.81% in 2016 to reach over 40 billion dollars. Additionally, the textile is the only category of international trade which show a substantial change in just one year, starting from around $35 billion, and ending with over 40 billion dollar in 2016, which make up a significant change of about 15.24%.
