below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
the figure below illustrates the vaule of one countries export in different categories between 2015 and 2016. The garph indicates the percentage change in each type of exports in 2016 when compared to 2015.
Overall, the export increased significantly over the years. The most dominat of them were petroleum products and engineered products.
first off, petroleum products are indicated by a percentage of 63% in the year 2016. The percentage of petroleum in the year 2015 is indicated by a proportion of 60%. Engineered goods are shown by a number of 59% in 2016 and 55% in 2015. Jewllery and gems are another category in the export market which reached a export vaule of 40% and 39% in the years 2015 ans 2016.
Furthermore,agricultural products demonstrated a percentage of about 30% for 2015 and 31% for 2016. Textiles a major contributor to the fashion industries amounts for about 25% and 30% this category showed the slowest progress when compared to other type of products in the export factor.
