below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart compares the export earnings in 5 different export products in billions between 2015 and 2016.
Overall, petroleum products generated the highest earning in both years where textile has lowest earning in 2015. Most product categories experienced an increase in export vlaue in contrast textiles has highest growt rate but gems and jewellery has decline.
Petroleum products rises form 60 billion to approximate 66 billion with an increase of 3%. Similarly, Engineered goods increased 8.5% from approximately 58 billion to 62 billion but Gem and jewellery has declined from approximately 54 billion to 50 billion with 5.18% decrement.
Agricultural products perform amost same both years with onlu 0.81% increase from approximately 40 billion to 41 billion,but Textiles has highest export rate from other products category with 15.24% in an increase in 2016 from 2015 with approximately 38 billion to 41 billion, As result Textiles overtook all other product category in terms of exporting percentage.
