below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The table demonstrates the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015. The show the value of one country's exports in various categories during between 2015 and 2016.
Overall, the striking feature is that Petroleum products are increase through out the categories while the percentage change in values. Textile was highest and least category was petroleum product in 2015-16. As per table representation of the table, Petroleum products 60 Billions in 2015, while minor increase at 62 Billions in 2016. However, Engineered goods 57 Billions in 2015, 61% in 2016. Moreover, the export earnings category gems and jewellery was 41 Billions in 2016. Furthermore, Agricultural products are almost same in 2015 and 2016, which was 30%. Textiles export earnings had lowest category which was 28 Billions in 2015 and substantially increase 32 Billions in 2016.
Further details, the percentage change in values Petroleum product was only 3% and engineered goods had 8.5% increase. Moreover, Gems and jewellery 5.18% decrease. In contrast, Agricultural products inclined was 0.81% which was the least category, while textiles percentage highest increase 15.24%.
