below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The information about the proportion of change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Regarding 2015, the maximum percentage of export earnings can we seen in petroleum products which is almost 61billons. Further followed by engineered goods around 60billons.
In contrast, the minimum proportion was in textiles ( 35billions). More export earnings came from gems and jewellery then that of agricltural products (51billions,35 billions).
As regards 2016, two fold more incomes came from petroleum products as compared to gems and jewellery around 51billions. The percentage of earnings from engineered goods was 60billions. Similar proportion of export earnings came from agricultural products and textiles around 30billions.
Overall, more export earnings came from petroleum products while from textiles, less profit is earned over the given period of time.
