below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart below depicts the worth of one nation exports in petroleum products, engineering goods, gems and jewelers, agriculture products and textiles during 2015 and 2016. the table illustrates the proportion change in every category of exports in 2016 in respect of 2015.
overall, the highest earnings is reported from petroleum products and lowest earnings was accounted for agricultural products. talking about table, the largest changes is for textiles while the smallest change can be seen in agricultural products.
In the bar chart, the export earnings of Petroleum products was quite similar of 2015 earnings while the exports of Engineering goods was more than 60 billion dollars. Although, exports of Gems and jewellery has been reduced to 50 billion dollars in 2016. in addition earnings from Agricultural products is nearly the same in a span of two years.
on the other hand, the maximum percentage change in Petroleum products, Gems and jewellery and Textiles ( 8.5%, 5.18% and 15.24% respectively) whereas the minimum proportion change in values was seen in Engineered goods and Agricultural products ( 0.81% and 3% respectively).
