below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
The bar chart compares the value of five categories of exports from a particular country in 2015and 2016 meesured in billions of US dollars. overall,pertolem products and engineering goods increased in 2016,exports off jems and jewellery declined slightly. agricultrual products remained almost unchanged whereas textiles experienced a notice rise in2015,petrolum products were the highest valueexport at approximately $67 billions .this figure incraese slightly to around $69 billionsin 2016 similarly,exports off engineering goods rose considerably from about $61 billions to approxametly $66 billions making them the second largest category in both years the value off gems and jewellery stood at roughly $52 billions in 2015 before falling slightly to around $50 billions in 2016 in comprasion,agricultural products showed very little change remaining at aproxximatley $41_42 billions over the two year period finally the textiles were the lowest value export category in 2015 at about $35 billions however their value increase subsitancly in 2016 despite this growth textiles remained below the other four categories
