IELTS Writing Task 1 question
below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
The chart illustrstes the export value of different things of one's country during 2015 and 2016. The table presents the change of percentage in each category of export in comparasin of 2016 with 2015.
Overall, the export earnings of petroleum products was highest in 2015 as well as in 2016.The lowest earings in 2015 and 2016 was of textiles.
Moreover, in comaprasion the petroleum products was 1% greater in 2016 then 2015 and the textile imcreased about 5% in 2016.
The highest export earnings in 2015 and 2016 was of petroleum products more than 60$. After that, Engeineering goods was at 60$ in 2015 and in 2016 it was about 70$. Gems and jewellry reduced to about 50$ in both 2015 and 2016. Furthermore, the agriculture products was at 41$ in both eras. And the textiles was the lowest earning in 2015 37$ which increased to 41$ in 2016.
Petroleum products increased 8.5% in 2016 while Gems and goods decreased 5.18% as compared to 2015. Similarly, Engineered goods rose 3% in 2016 as well as agriculture products 0.81% increased. At last, textiles rose up 15,24% in 2016.
