Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response attempts to address the task by summarizing the provided chart and table data, but the information reported is often inaccurate or misread. For instance, the writer states that petroleum earnings were 'in approx 72 billions in 2016' and that gems earned '55 billions in 2015', which significantly departs from the actual figures shown in the visual data. While an overview is attempted, the limited and flawed selection of features means the response only minimally addresses the requirements of the prompt, focusing heavily on incorrect data points rather than the main trends.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The organization of information lacks clear progression and logical structure. Although the text is broken into short paragraphs, the overall arrangement is confusing, jumping between different years and product categories without a clear strategy. Cohesive devices are basic and repetitively used, such as starting multiple sentences with 'overall' or 'initially'. Furthermore, referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of information across the comparison of categories.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, relying heavily on simple terms like 'earns', 'products', and 'exported'. There are several noticeable word choice and word form errors throughout the text, such as 'pertroleum', 'campare', 'contionusly', and 'expoted'. These errors, alongside inaccurate collocations like 'necessary products agricultural', restrict the range of vocabulary and occasionally cause strain for the reader in interpreting the specific data categories.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The grammatical structures employed are very limited and repetitive. The text contains frequent errors in verb tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions, such as 'The bar graph explained' (tense shift), 'textiles are ,which are less the other', and 'in the least textiles are'. Complex sentences are attempted but are generally faulty and poorly constructed. Punctuation is also erratic, with misplaced commas and spacing errors that further disrupt the flow of reading.
