Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is undeniable that women has achieved a strong position in society but it is said that societies cannot believe that gender equality is achieved.I completely agree with this statement.
There are many changes in women empowerment in past 50 years and women has accomplished many powerful positions in society and also in the government. The general circumstances has changed a lot women now can have everything that they want .If a women want to become leader or want to become an actress they can without any obstacles. However, this journey was not so easy for women they have to fight for their rights.
Although, in this Modern era women have attained powerful positions but in many countries women don't have the rights and equality .for example , in many undeveloped countries women don't get the freedom to live independently they often have to fight with the unprivileged life and the narrow minded society. In addition, they have to fight for better education, better healthcare and for equal rights. however , this is not the case for everyone man always get the privileges in every aspect of their life compared to women.
In this regard , i completely stand with the given statement because perhaps women has achieved strong positions in some society or nation but in every aspect of their life and for everyone the equality was not achieved. In some society and some countries women are still suffering to achieve equal rights .
In conclusion, achieving powerful positions are not only the goal for women but also they have to achieve equal rights and when the women will have the equality in every aspect of their life the society will consider that Equal rights has been accomplished.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you completely agree that societies have not achieved gender equality, and you address both women’s progress and continuing inequality. The examples of women entering leadership and entertainment, alongside barriers to education, healthcare, and independent living, are relevant to the question. However, these points are often asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that women can now pursue what they want “without any obstacles” is broad and sits uneasily beside your later discussion of ongoing barriers. Develop the contrast with a specific example and explain how it demonstrates progress without full equality. This would make the response more fully supported and balanced across the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, a further statement of your position, and a conclusion. The progression from women’s advances to continuing disadvantages is generally logical, and linking phrases such as “However,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. At times, though, cohesion is mechanical or unclear. The paragraph beginning “Although, in this Modern era” contains several ideas in a long sequence, while “this is not the case for everyone man” makes the relationship between the ideas difficult to follow. Some repetition of the position also limits progression. Group related points more clearly and use pronouns and transitions that make each connection explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “gender equality,” “powerful positions,” “independently,” and “equal rights.” These terms make your main ideas understandable, and you attempt more specific expressions such as “narrow minded society.” However, some word choices and collocations are imprecise or repetitive, including “changes in women empowerment,” “strong position,” and “unprivileged life.” Repeated use of “achieved,” “rights,” and “equality” also limits flexibility. Aim for more natural topic-specific phrasing and choose words that express the intended meaning precisely. For example, distinguish between women gaining representation in leadership and achieving equal treatment in everyday life.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “If a women want to become leader” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some errors in agreement, articles, sentence boundaries, and punctuation reduce accuracy. Examples include “women has achieved,” “the general circumstances has changed,” and “a women … they can.” The sentence beginning “Although, in this Modern era” is also awkwardly punctuated and structured. Review subject–verb agreement and singular/plural forms, and check that each sentence has a clear grammatical frame. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to read while preserving your attempts at complex sentences.
